Andrew Freeman is a journalist and author living in Rochester, N.Y. A Texas native, he studied Broadcast Journalism at the University of North Texas before going on to report in the Texoma region, and Upstate New York. When he’s not writing stories, he enjoys spending time outdoors, practicing martial arts, and doting on his cat.

Developed, videoed, wrote and edited readers, VOSOTs and packages airing on Denton Community Television. Covered a beat. Worked on stories including community events, politics, university issues and environmental issues.

Self-published Welcome to Wis' Apothecary, a light fantasy aimed at young adults. Responsible for own marketing, sales, accounting, book events and collaborating with book stores/other vendors. Launched the D.B.A. South Wedge Publishing to organize the business. 


American Riichi Mahjong League

Helps provide live commentary coverage of league matches for the American Riichi Mahjong League. Besides the broadcast, duties also include gathering and analyzing player data, and player interviews.
